‘FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE’
Watch it now – it’s great! The sound track is equally amazing!

Clint Eastwood Rocks it!

I’m in love with these squashed blossom necklaces.
- And since I discovered them, I now daydream of someone buying me one for my 30th.
Sadly, I don’t think that’s going to happen.

Big kitty-kat.

I’ll be here with my illustrations in Oct with my friend Megan Perkins.
Megan makes stunning enamel jewellery – See for yourself.
New things: I’ve now got A3 sizes available in some of my illustrations to sell at the Bowerbird Markets. So if your in Adelaide during the event come and say hello.

Amazing Tattoo.

If I knew where this was I’d go there and never come back and I’d definitely have goats.

I’d live here as well.

Magical ride

This pic makes me miss the ocean.

Balancing act!  It’s exactly how I feel at the moment. I’m feeling the pressure of looming deadlines, while trying to juggle new projects. All while, attempting to create new directions and inspiration for my own personal works. It’s been a challenging few months. But, as challenging as I have found this last month, I’m feeling a little sparkle slowly return and I’m itching to find the right balance between commission work and creative personal work.

Because, I thought I did such a good job of surviving last month. I decided to treat myself and buy some second hand leather goodies. These two skirts are new additions to my wardrobe. I’m not sold that I can pull off a long leather skirt, but you only live once.

Red Robin – For Kristin

April 27th, 2011 | 4 comments

I hope everyone had a great Easter break. I managed to get away to the coast of Tassie to visit my sister for a few days, while I was there we went walking and took loads of pics of mushrooms and ferns.
I also, managed to find the time to finish Kirstin’s image above, he’s a little inspired from the mushroom pics I took on the Easter break. This birdie was created for a little art comp I ran in March, I used  the lucky winners colour of choice. I’ve named him Red Robin and have incorporated Kirstin’s colour – Burgundy. I’ll be in contact Kirstin for postal arrangements for the original and a print. I hope you like him. :)

Here the image for Kristin so far. The pics a little dark, the original of him is a lot softer. I can’t wait to get started on the colour working with burgundy will be fun as I usually stick to the softer pastel colours.

For those that will be in Adelaide in May please come a visit me at the Bowerbird Bazaar Markets it’s going to be brilliant.
There will be so many amazing designers, crafters and artists works to buy.
I’ve been super busy designing and making new things for this event. Hopefully, I’ll be able to post some of my creations before the markets. I’ve also been working on a side project to launch at the markets on Mothers Day, it’s a project dedicated to my mum and my partners and if you come by my stall early on the day there be a little something to wear for free.

I’ve been doing some research for my comp illustration give away and these are the things that I have come across. I’m super keen to incorporate all the elements into one drawing. I’m thinking a nice little nature theme based on ‘the romantic with in us’.
Hopefully all goes to plan and Kristin will have herself one lovely image.

Congrats to Kristin as she’s the lucky winner of my little comp.
I’ll be drawing an original illustration for Kirstin with her fav colour. Watch this space for updates of the illos progress.
