These little guys are from the Noferin website. The Pecanpals are a series of wooden creatures, that are made from sustainably harvested rubber wood. How awesome! I really wanted to buy one, but all the wooden ones are sold out.

I recently completed this image for my friends wedding, it will be used for the front of their wedding invite. The birds I have used are native Tasmanian birds, a female and male blue wren. Alecia and her partner Mark seemed quite thrilled with the end result. My partner, Tom is working on the typography, we have decided to print the invite on recycled stock, Tudor Kraft. I can’t wait to see them printed.

Hello shiny world, lately I have been drawing, designing and crafting some lovely wrapping paper all in the spirit of Christmas season. The artwork is printed on paper that would have other wise be thrown out. The idea was to use A4 paper which has been sewn down the middle to create an A3 size (540 x 297mm) piece, to wrap up smaller gifts nicely. The sewn edge, when the paper is flat becomes the middle of the paper and becomes a nice little feature. See the pictures above of the wrapped pressie to get a visual idea.
I have also made some little gift cards, which match the wrapping paper. I will be selling all of these lovelies on etsy so keep a look out. I’ve made limited stock so don’t miss out : )

Unfortunately, I can not credit the photographer behind this image as I don’t know who took it. I do know that this is a green pheasant. The picture is amazing and I want to draw this bird. : )
